Maya Hertig Randall is Professor of Constitutional Law and Director of the Department of Public Law at the Law Faculty of the University of Geneva (UNIGE), as well as Co-Director of UNIGE Certificate of Advanced Studies in Human Rights.
She is a member of the Swiss Federal Commission against Racism and of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
She has been a Teaching Assistant in European Law and International Economic Law at the University of Bern, as well as Visiting Researcher at the Central European University in Budapest and at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
Maya Hertig Randall is the author of numerous publications in French, German and English in the field of human rights, constitutionalism, federalism and minority rights.
She holds a PhD from the University of Fribourg, a first-class LLM degree from the University of Cambridge and was admitted to the Geneva bar in 2002.
